SUNDAY SERVICES / ON-LINE WORSHIP: Out of an abundance of caution due to the virus, Church Worship services will continue to be held on-line on Zoom. Please open the email sent each week from the church and follow the instruction for Zoom; and be sure to print out the bulletin and announcements to enable you to follow the service. Please have your name displayed on the screen to enable people to know who it is.
TITHES & OFFERING: Even though we cannot worship together, the expenses of our church still continue. It is not just necessary, but also a fundamental part of your commitment to support it with your weekly tithes and offerings. There are three ways of giving:
1) on-line: through PayPal. This can be found on website, www.woodbridgemethodist.org.
scroll down to the “giving” button on the bottom right. This will direct you to PayPal and you can then make your donation to the church.
2) check: via us mail (pay to WUMC, send to 69 Main St. Woodbridge, NJ 07095)
3) cash: please insert your envelope in the mail slot which is on the parking lot side door
SPECIAL GUEST PREACHER for PENTECOST SUNDAY SERVICE:
~Next Sunday, May 31, is Pentecost Sunday. This celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit 50 days after Easter. Pentecost is the birthday of the Christian church. Even thou we will be on Zoom, we encourage you to wear something RED for Pentecost Sunday service to reflect the color of fire that symbolizes the Holy Spirit. Hopefully WUMC will be all in red on Zoom for Pentecost!
~We will have a special guest preacher for Pentecost Sunday. Rev. Edgar Kalnins, father of Leah Kalnins (Chang Yong’s girlfriend), will preach at this time and pray with us and for us.
CORONA VIRUS: With the widespread outbreak of the corona virus, please be sure to take all necessary precautions. The best way of prevention is to avoid being exposed to this virus.
DAILY PRAYER TIME & BIBLE READING TIME: The Prayer Time is at 9pm. Everyone can be in prayer together. And with prayer, try to read your Bible daily.
