SUNDAY SERVICES / ON-LINE WORSHIP: Out of an abundance of caution due to the virus, Church Worship services will continue to be held on-line on Zoom. Please open the email sent each week from the church and follow the instruction for Zoom; and be sure to print out the bulletin and announcements to enable you to follow the service. Please have your name displayed on the screen to enable people to know who it is.
CHURCH COUNCIL MEETING: After Worship Service today there will be a Church
Council Meeting on Zoom. All Church Council members (Ross Amaru, Terry Burns, Joe and Janet Ciravolo, Colleen Gillick, Musa Kamara, Sam Kamara, Locton Lewis)
please stay online after service to attend this special meeting.
TITHES & OFFERING: Even though we cannot worship together, the expenses of our church still continue. It is not just necessary, but also a fundamental part of your commitment to support it with your weekly tithes and offerings. There are three ways of giving:
1) on-line: through PayPal. This can be found on website, www.woodbridgemethodist.org.
scroll down to the “giving” button on the bottom right. This will direct you to PayPal and you can then make your donation to the church.
2) check: via us mail (pay to WUMC, send to 69 Main St. Woodbridge, NJ 07095)
3) cash: please insert your envelope in the mail slot which is on the parking lot side door
SPECIAL GUEST PREACHER for PENTECOST SUNDAY SERVICES: We will have a special guest preacher on May 31, Pentecost Sunday. Rev. Edgar Kalnins, father of Leah Kalnins (Chang Yong’s girlfriend), will preach at this time and pray with us and for us.
CORONA VIRUS: With the widespread outbreak of the corona virus, please be sure to take all necessary precautions. The best way of prevention is to avoid being exposed to this virus.
BIBLE STUDY: Next Saturday, May 23, at 10am will be the last Zoom Bible Study class (Psalm 132-134). Thank you to Rev. Benjamin for continuing with the Zoom classes.
GENERAL CONFERENCE: has been canceled and will be scheduled for next year.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE: has been canceled and will be scheduled for Oct. 4th and 6th.
DAILY PRAYER TIME & BIBLE READING TIME: The Prayer Time is at 9pm. Everyone can be in prayer together. And with prayer, try to read your Bible daily.
