~ Today is Youth Sunday, we would like to thank the youth with Seonwoo and Hayoung Lee for participating in the service; and to Seonwoo for delivering God’s word today.

Next Sunday, Nov. 6, is Communion Sunday, and the beginning of Stewardship Month

 

TITHES & OFFERING: Please devote yourself to giving in FOUR ways:

1) On-line: through PayPal. This can be found on www.woodbridgemethodist.org

2) Venmo: search for @woodbridge, select “Pay or Request,” and enter offering amount.

3) Check: place in offering plate or send to Woodbridge UMC via mail.

4) Cash: place offering envelope in offering plate or in mail slot at parking lot side door.

 

STEWARDSHIP SUNDAY/PLEDGE SUNDAY: The month of November will be Stewardship Month and the third Sunday, Thanksgiving Sunday, will be our Pledge Sunday. As an expression of thanks for the many blessings God has given you, we encourage you to pray for the church and try to consider a deeper, more robust financial offering.

 

PASTOR’S APPRECIATION MONTH: Is observed in October. Each week during this month we have recognized the work and continued dedication of the Pastor to God and to our Church. Thank You Pastor, Mrs. Lee and Grace, we appreciate all you do.

 

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME: Please remember to turn your clocks back one hour this Saturday, Nov. 5, as Daylight Savings Time ends.

 

OFFERING FOR SRI LANKA MISSON: The Puthukamam Methodist Church in Sri Lanka where Rev. Paul and Saroja Benjamin donated a building fund needs modern equipment. To make a designated offering for this purpose, please write “Sri Lanka Mission” on the offering envelope.

 

HOLYLAND TOUR: Rev. Paul is planning to take a group to Israel from March 18-26, 2023.It will be 8 days tour. COST: airfare(about $1000) and $1500 in Israel per person. There will be a state-approved tour guide. If you are interested, please contact Rev. CHRISTMAS SHOE BOXES: Operation Christmas Child – shoe boxes are available. Please fill a box with items for children in need for Christmas. Boxes are due back Sunday, Nov. 13. Any questions, please see Janet Ciravolo.

 

BIBLE READING CLUB: If you would like to be part of the Bible Reading Club and commit to reading the bible daily, please follow the schedule that is listed in announcements.

 

FOOD PANTRY:  Prayer Group and church will give a donation each month to help those in need during these difficult times to St. James Food Pantry. You can help, please give a donation with your on-line offering, and designate it as “Food Pantry,” or send it to the office.

 

ALTAR FLOWERS: This is a special way to honor or remember a loved one. Cost is $25. Sign-up sheet in hallway or call the office. Any questions, please see Janet Ciravolo.
