SUNDAY SERVICES: Out of an abundance of caution due to the virus, Church Worship services will continue to be held on-line on Zoom for October except for Communion Sunday (first Sunday of the month). The remainder of the month services are on Zoom.

~* ZOOM CONNECTION GROUP FELLOWSHIP – is rescheduled this month to Sunday, September 19, due to Welcome Back to School Day today.
~Beginning November 7, the church will follow CDC guidelines and will return to
IN-PERSON weekly worship services (services will also be available on zoom).
We are hopeful to be able to have a Thanksgiving International Luncheon.
TITHES & OFFERING: Please continue to devote yourself to giving in FOUR ways:
1) On-line: through PayPal. This can be found on the website, www.woodbridgemethodist.org
scroll down to the “giving” button on the bottom right. You can pay by your credit
cards after opening PayPal on the website
2) Venmo: download Venmo App and search for @woodbridge UMC: (1) “Add a Friend”
(2) “Pay or Request” (3) enter your offering amount (4) enter “what’s it for” (5) click
“Pay” and then click “Pay Woodbridge UMC” again.

(payable to WUMC)
4) Cash: Please insert your offering envelope in the mail slot at the parking lot side door.
2021 CHURCH CONFERENCE: The 2021 Church Conference will be held on Sat., Oct. 23 at 12pm via zoom. Conference deadline: Sept. 20, reports were due to office by Sept. 10.
WBS (Welcome Back to School): TODAY after service is the WBS (Welcome Back to School) Day for the children. Thank you to Seon Woo and Janet for organizing this.
UMCOR(United Methodist Committee on Relief): is collecting donations and supplies Even the smallest gift can make an impact. (for more info please call the church office.)
Operation Welcome Neighbor: Aide for the Afghan Refugees – please donate items needed or monetary donation (memo box: Advance # 982450 or 3022144).
Hurricane Ida: Monetary donations please, as many victims houses were destroyed. (write: Umcor – Advance #901670 in memo box, send to church office or with your on-line offering, please designate donation as “Umcor – Advance #901670.
FOOD PANTRY: Prayer Group and church will give a donation each month to help those in need during these difficult times to St. James Food Pantry. You can help, please give a donation with your on-line offering, and designate it as “Food Pantry,” or send it to the office.
ON-LINE YOUTH SNACK DAY: Youth Snack Day via Zoom will be held every other Saturday at 7pm. The next Youth Snack Day will be Saturday, September 18.
