FOURTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT/CHRISTMAS SUNDAY: Today is the Fourth Sunday of Advent & Christmas Sunday. The Advent Candle reading today is by the Lewis Family. And the Virtual Christmas Pageant was so GREAT! Thank you to the youth and parents for their videos submitted, and to Chang Yong Shin and Janet Ciravolo for organizing.

 

THANK YOU: Special thanks to our Guest Preacher, Pastor Edgar Kalnins, for providing God’s word for us today with today’s sermon. We’re blessed to have him with us today.

And also we appreciate Rev. Paul Benjamin for holding the On-line Advent Bible Study. We are thankful for the opportunity to have learned from his teaching.

 

SUNDAY SERVICES: Out of an abundance of caution due to the virus, Church Worship services will continue to be held on-line on Zoom except for Communion Sunday (first Sunday of the month). The remainder of the month services will be held on Zoom.

 

TITHES & OFFERING: Please continue to devote yourself to giving in three ways:

1) On-line: through PayPal. This can be found on website, www.woodbridgemethodist.org.

scroll down to the “giving” button on the bottom right. This will direct you to PayPal and you can then make your donation to the church.

~ Give your tithes and offerings before you log in to the online service via Zoom, if possible.

2) Check: via us mail (pay to WUMC, send to 69 Main St. Woodbridge, NJ 07095)

3) Cash: please insert your envelope in the mail slot which is on the parking lot side door.

~ Windows Offering: Please remember to continue your pledge offering.

CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE:                                                                     

 

The Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Thursday, Dec. 24, at 6:30pm will be in person, and via Zoom. To ensure everyone’s safety – the Church will be practicing social distancing, and masks must be worn.

 

POSTCARDS AND INVITATIONS: There are post-cards and invitations for Christmas

Eve service at church, please pick some up and give them out to welcome someone to join us for Christmas Eve in-person or Zoom Worship Service.

 

CHRISTMAS POINTSETTIA FLOWERS: If anyone ordered a poinsettia flower, the cost is $10. Please write a check to WUMC, or money in envelope and drop off to church office.

 

GRADUATION: CONGRATULATIONS to Chang Yong Shin, as he graduated from Drew Theological University with a Master’s in Divinity on Tuesday, December 15.

 

ON-LINE YOUTH SNACK DAY: Youth Snack Day via Zoom will be held every other Saturday at 7pm. The next Youth Snack Day will be Saturday, Dec. 26.
