SUNDAY SERVICES / ON-LINE WORSHIP: Out of an abundance of caution due to the virus, Church Worship services will continue to be held on-line on Zoom.
Please open the email sent each week from the church and follow the instruction for Zoom; and be sure to print out the bulletin and announcements to enable you to follow the service. Please have your name displayed on the screen to enable people to know who it is.
YOUTH SUNDAY: Today is Youth Sunday. Thank you to the Sunday School students for their participation in the service today, and Chang Yong Shin for directing them.
TITHES & OFFERING: There are three ways of giving:
1) on-line: through PayPal. This can be found on website, www.woodbridgemethodist.org.
scroll down to the “giving” button on the bottom right. This will direct you to PayPal and you can then make your donation to the church.
2) check: via us mail (pay to WUMC, send to 69 Main St. Woodbridge, NJ 07095)
3) cash: please insert your envelope in the mail slot which is on the parking lot side door.
VIRTUAL VBS (Vacation Bible School): Today after service (11:30-12:30) there will be a virtual VBS online for Elementary school students.
ON-LINE YOUTH SNACK DAY: Youth Snack Day via Zoom will be held every other Saturday at 7pm. The next Youth Snack Day will be held on Saturday, September 3, 7pm.
HOLY COMMUNION is a powerful spiritual experience that draws you closer to God and to fellow believers. On Sunday, Sept.6, we will share in Holy Communion together on our Zoom on-line Service. When you gather for worship and the sacrament, please prepare bread/crackers and grape juice/any other juice. During our zoom service we will share in communion together. (Please call the office to make arrangements if you could like to pick up individual disposable communion cup kits).
GATEWAY NORTH CHARGE CONFERENCE: Due to the virus, this years Charge Conference will be held on Zoom on Saturday, October 17, 12:00 – 12:45pm.
Deadline for all reports is Thursday, Sept. 10. Zoom link will be sent in advance.
ALTAR FLOWERS: This is a special way to honor or remember a loved one. Even though we are not meeting in church – altar flowers can still be ordered. Anyone who would like to order flowers please contact Janet Ciravolo or office for arrangements. (cost is $20)
