ANNOUNCEMENTS August 4, 2019
COMMUNION OFFERING: Today is Communion Sunday, and a special offering will be taken for Missions. Please place your donation in the plate as you come up to communion.
WORSHIP SERVICE/FELLOWSHIP TIME: Due to the continuing updating of the windows and frames, the worship services for Aug. 4 and Aug. 11 will be held in Fellowship Hall. Service will be followed by a light Fellowship time (coffee & bagels, muffins, etc.),
CONNECTIONAL GROUP FELLOWSHIP: The Connectional Group Fellowship scheduled for today will be postponed, and will resume September 1.
VACATION: If you will be away this summer, be sure to let the Pastor know so he will keep you in pray for a safe and happy vacation. Please remember to worship at a church near you.
2019 CHURCH CONFERENCE: This year the Conference for Woodbridge UMC for the Gateway North District will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 8:45-10:30am at Morrow Memorial UMC, Maplewood.
REPLACEMENT OF WINDOWS/ UPGRADES TO CHURCH:
The replacement of windows has begun, but You can still help: Our church is in need of repairs. Please pray about this, and help with the transformation of the church. As God speaks to your heart, if you have not filled out a pledge form and would like to do so – please fill out a pledge form for your donation and place it in the offering plate. (forms and envelopes are on front table).
DAILY PRAYER TIME & BIBLE READING TIME: The Prayer Time is at 9pm. Everyone can be in prayer together. Praying together, we are strengthened and blessed. The Bible is one of our greatest sources of spiritual food; try to read your Bible daily.
MERCY DONATIONS: Please remember that everyone can work together, both adults and children, to help the needy with your donation in the boxes located at both entrances.
