ADVENT: During the Advent Season each week we will light another candle on the Advent Wreath to prepare us for the coming of the Christ Child at Christmas.
CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PAGEANT: Sunday, Dec. 21. You don’t want to miss the children’s re-telling of our faith story. Please have children come each week for rehearsal for the pageant..
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: Wednesday Dec. 24 at 5 pm. Please be sure to join us, and bring a friend, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus together.
POINSETTIA FLOWERS: the deadline for wanting to order poinsettia flowers for the altar is Dec. 14, the cost is $10. Please be sure to have your orders in. For more info see Janet Ciravolo.
SPECIAL COLLECTION: A special collection will be taken the next few weeks to help the people of Sri Lanka after catastrophic flooding and landslides. It is considered the largest national disaster in the country. Please try to help. Thank you.
WOODBRIDGE COMMUNITY CHOIR: Join the Woodbridge Community Choir for their “Comfort & Joy” holiday concert on Sat., Dec. 13 at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church. Doors open at 7pm, concert at 7:30pm.
CLEANING: Colleen has been volunteering and doing the cleaning of fellowship hall and the church. This is definitely too much for one person. Starting January additional volunteers are needed to help. There is a sign up sheet in the hallway. Any questions, see Colleen. We would like to thank Colleen for all the hard work she has been doing.
ANOINTING Going in for a procedure? Need healing prayers? Please share during “Koinonia” for laying-on-of-hands and anointing with oil.
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS: The first Sunday of each month during the announcements we will celebrate all the birthdays for that month. Please add your name to the list in the hallway. Today we will celebrate our December birthdays.
JAMES FOOD PANTRY: Please be sure to add a non-perishable item each time you go food shopping (can of soup, mac-n-cheese, etc.). The collection box is located by the hallway exit. Monetary donations also excepted.
