THIRD SUNDAY OF ADVENT: Today is the Third Sunday of Advent, as we continue our Christmas journey.

The Candle of Joy will be lit by the Prayer Group.

~Next Sunday is the Fourth Sunday of Advent & Christmas Sunday.

TITHES & OFFERING: Please continue to devote yourself to giving in FOUR ways:

1) On-line: through PayPal. This can be found on the website, www.woodbridgemethodist.org

You can pay by your credit cards after opening PayPal on the website

2) Venmo: download Venmo App and search for @woodbridge UMC: (1) “Add a Friend”   (2) “Pay or Request” (3)   enter your offering amount (4) enter “what’s it for” (5) click   “Pay” and then click “Pay Woodbridge UMC” again.

3 Check: send to Woodbridge UMC, 69 Main St. Woodbridge, NJ 07095 via us mail  (payable to WUMC)

4) Cash: Please insert your offering envelope in the mail slot at the parking lot side door.

 

ADVENT BIBLE STUDY: 2021 Advent Study has begun. It is for one more Saturday via Zoom (Dec. 18) 10-11 AM. Come! Join the last study group led by Dr. Paul Benjamin.

We would like to thank Rev. Paul Benjamin for holding the On-line Advent Bible Study. We are thankful for the opportunity to have learned from his teaching.

 

CHRISTMAS POINTSETTIA FLOWERS: Today is the deadline for anyone wanting to order a poinsettia flower, the cost is $10. Please be sure to have your orders in today – see Janet Ciravolo.

 

CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE:The Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Friday, Dec. 24, at 6:30pm will be in person, and via Zoom. To ensure everyone’s safety –  the Church will be practicing social distancing, and masks should be worn.

 

SAMARITIAN’S PURSE: This year in place of Christmas Shoe boxes, donations are being accepted for Operation Christmas child from Samaritan’s Purse, please designate your donation and the church will send in one monetary donation.

 

FOOD PANTRY:  Prayer Group and church will give a donation each month to help those in need during these difficult times to St. James Food Pantry. You can help, please give a donation with your on-line offering, and designate it as “Food Pantry,” or send it to the office.
