ADVENT: Today is the Second Sunday of Advent. Each Sunday in Advent we will light a different candle to prepare us for the coming of the Christ Child at Christmas. Today we will light the Candle of Love.
CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS: If you would like to order a Poinsettia for Christmas in memory or honor of a loved one, order forms are in the bulletin. Deadline for orders is December 15.
POSTCARDS AND INVITATIONS: Inserted in your bulletin weekly are post-cards and invitations for Christmas Sunday and Christmas Eve services. Please be sure to welcome someone so that they may share in God’s love this Christmas season.
CHRISTMAS CHORAL ENSEMBLE: Please join the Chorus for youth and adults to make a joyful noise unto the Lord this Christmas. Rehearsal will be today after fellowship.
CHRISTMAS SCHEDULE:
– Christmas Sunday and Christmas Pageant, Sunday, Dec. 22, 10:30am, followed by Christmas Luncheon. Church will supply the ham, please bring a favorite dish to share.
– Christmas Eve Candlelight Service with the Special Christmas Music: Tuesday,Dec. 24, 6:30pm
MERCY DONATIONS: Please remember that everyone can work together, both adults and children, to help the needy with your donation in the boxes located at both entrances.
DAILY PRAYER TIME & BIBLE READING TIME: The Prayer Time is at 9pm.
Everyone can be in prayer together. Praying together, we are strengthened and blessed. The Bible is one of our greatest sources of spiritual food; try to read your Bible daily.
